    No-Hitters on their own are a statistical anomaly. Taking a cursory glance, I'm not sure run environment makes much of a difference. You're working so far on the margins when it comes to them, that a league average BA being 10 points lower barely even registers.

    League average in NL is a .250 BA, the Cubs are at .244. They also never walk and rarely sacrifice (maximizing the number of PA per game that are ABs)

Edit: HA! Bob does. We're both asses for not knowing, but the information benefits me. I'm relatively sure IG was being sarcastic. Considering your point is how great it'll be to have them on the national stage when the Cubs are good, it's pretty silly to act like Brenly calling games with Vasgergian or whoever will be a big deal for him.
