  1. I'd assume he becomes a free agent. Assuming this is year 1, Soler would have to be in the big leagues for good after 1.25-1.5 minor league seasons. I doubt it's a problem.
  2. Not quite that easy. Remember, there will be two separate 6 pick lotteries involving supplemental picks involving small market teams. They could not have fucked up these new draft rules any more if they wanted to.
  3. Van Gundy gave me the highlight of the NBA playoffs when he said Pietrus should be fined a million dollars after he flopped.
  4. Did that many teams really consider draft pick compensation when acquiring guys at midseason?
  5. This. MMA has replaced the niche that boxing once filled. Nah, boxing fans just get old and die and aren't replaced. If anything MMA pulls fans from rasslin'. and competitive douchin' Is that on the Ocho? Let me check with the DuCross brothers.
  6. Seriously, there are reasons to like Cespedes over Soler, but just the fact that he is a big-league CF is not one of them. I would think that Soler will be in the majors when he is Cespedes' age. And if you believe bWAR, Cespedes is a big-league CF in name only.
  7. I may be in the minority, but I'd take Soler over Cespedes. Miguel Sano is a top 10 prospect in baseball. That's not really an outrageous claim. I like Soler better than Cespedes too
  8. Chris Mullin was 90 years old by time he got to the Pacers. Are we seriously going to have this conversation? I mean imagine how good the Bulls would've been if they got any help from the officials
  9. Getting really sick of seeing this [expletive].
  10. Boxing fans are slightly more tolerable too.
  11. Every free throw Reggie Miller ever shot was because he did that. Well, nearly every one. Love when Bulls fans slam other guys for getting calls.
  12. You're aware that the Cubs have not lost 100 games this year right?
  13. His offseason plan was to keep Jim Hendry.
  14. Wow, what a great answer to a stupid question. I wonder what Keith Law would have said. Remind him of a couple of Juan Pierres. Always standing and walking.
  15. Say what ????? there http://i37.tinypic.com/302w50k.jpg
  16. Dallas Beeler has just careened off a cliff
  17. ok. If anyone repeats more than one ellipsis, then that'll happen. I haven't seen it yet, though.
  18. Golf really is just the worst, but the only thing Horse racing has over it is that it's short.
  19. More importantly, it looks like wekse got off free with his menacing phone calls to the colonel.
  20. You shut your whore mouth
  21. They'd make the playoffs. Also, who knows what they could do with that salary or even the combined cap space if they traded him and amnestied Booz. It better be something great if you're opening the year with Noah, Barnes and trash supporting him/them.
  22. Trading Deng is punting the season.
  23. Bobcats pick for Barnes?
  24. We're gong to have to eat the contract...and the sooner the better so others can come up and start our rebuild. The biggest mistake our new masterminds are making is hanging onto Sori trying 'to get something for him' Its retarding the progress of Brett Jackson, who needs to get on-the-job training at the MLB level. The money is gone...we cant get it back. Release Sori. Should have been done last winter. The last month Soriano is at .270/.337/.640 (.997 OPS). You want him released right now? In favor off a guy that isn't doing that in AAA? Because he's choosing to be punchless.
