  1. Maybe someday they can honor dayne Crist and Turner gill as legends of the horizon
  2. Yeah, I really didn't get the "He'll be a better shooter because he'll be more of the focus of the offense" bit, but it didn't fit my parallel structure. Reasonable that he'll shoot better? Sure, he's shooting like Daniel Moore this season. Reasonable that he "should be able be a real threat as a shooter?" Nope. I can't imagine anyone here actually thinking that, but then there was the guy who was convinced Tennessee's women's team consistently beat the men's team, so who knows.
  3. Hollowell would start shooting up draft boards if teams could ever find out why he didn't play those 3 games.
  4. Oladipo is gone. He's graduating in May. At last check, he's somewhere around a late first round prospect (31st on ESPN, with Chad Ford, for what that's worth, saying "Love him. One of my favorite players in the country. He’s gonna be a first round pick in this year’s draft. If he can convince scouts that his 45% shooting from beyond the arc isn’t a fluke — lottery isn’t out of the question.”). Why exactly would he come back? The mental gymnastics this board goes to in hating IU is pretty comical. Out one side of the mouth, let's make fun of the couple IU fans that think Zeller will come back; out of the other side of the mouth, let's make up doomsday scenarios for when Oladipo comes back! But education is important to the Zellers.
  5. Are there a lot of guards who weren't "good" shooters in high school? Are there a lot of sophomores that aren't granted gym access in the summer?
  6. Yeah, but now WE have Nate Robinson That's why I'm going easy on you guys.
  7. I'm not sure Howard could play alongside Love anyway
  8. I'd forgotten how good Dunston was to start that year. This game was highwater mark for the season. He'd then go .227/.263/.338 the last 2 months of the season.
  9. Was coming back just to say this.
  10. Yeah by next year Yogi should be able be a real threat as a shooter. Im hoping this team can be special but next year could be a lot of fun with the athletes. Watford and Hulls will be replaced by much more athletic players. If Oladipo comes back u are talking perhaps the most athletic in the nation. Ferrell's not even a good 2 point shooter next year, How "should" he be ale to be a real threat next year after removing all of Indiana's best players? And as usual, how does Indiana work out the scholarship situation if Oldadipo stays? That leaves them 2 over assuming Zeller leaves.
  11. If you'd just sign 45 more guys as per SEC regs, you'd be fine.
  12. The back half of the 200 level are all terrible seats. I'd sit in the back row of 500 over them.
  13. Maybe they can trade Kevin Love for him.
  14. Yeah, should probably hold out for Love.
  15. Hey, now that we've matched our embarrassing home loss to Northwestern from last year, let's not double down and lose by 30 @ Nebraska again.
  16. Samardzija is the only Cub I see out with any sort of regularity. I'm guessing that means the other guys are club-rats, so point Samardzija.
  17. Because he's looking solely at home runs or because he's comparing a 144 game season to a 162 game one?
  18. Sounds like a good fit
  19. I'm not saying I'd make the deal, but Upton is one year removed from an an fWAR equal to Castro's best two. It's not that insulting. And last year he wasn't any good, and is signed for 5 less years than Castro at worse prices.
  20. Brant Brown does not share your hope Tree just wants me to have a front row view from the LF bleachers.
  21. http://walrusmusicblog.com/wp-content/uploads/retro/864blog_meatball.jpg
  22. It's because he's on your team and not bad. He's a [expletive] [expletive]. And the Bulls got so many lucky bounces in crunch time I thought they must have been playing against one of Sulley's teams. Unreal.
  23. Perhaps you missed this entire thread over the past 24 hours full of people who hammered gr over his stance and are now choosing to miss half(or all of the story) to continue with their bad jokes.
