  1. My quick look-through has Mike Minor and Yusmeiro Petit last year.
  2. This is a sign that Jerry Reinsdorf was on the 16 person panel.
  3. #BridgeYear
  4. Yea but with that opponent what else can you expect
  5. Big XII does it The Big XII plays a round robin schedule.
  6. I just figured the left arm was the only one he could still throw with
  7. I'm glad you asked No Fine replace Gioskar Amaya with Trevor Gretzky
  8. Jose Martinez is the most uncomfortable looking first baseman I've ever seen.
  9. I’m not sure how the 860 yards Ole Miss tacked up against Louisiana-Monroe is really relevant either. Counting total yards and ranking teams accordingly is beyond archaic. You’re already backing off with the SEC schedule caveat. Of course if you limited their offense to the ranked SEc teams they averaged 255 yards, which is just a shade under what The Citadel put up against Bama
  10. Ole Miss was the what now? Exactly what I said. https://www.cfbstats.com/2018/leader/national/team/offense/split01/category10/sort01.html Narrowly edging out North Texas's elite offense.
  11. so the Sooners should be able to score enough to at least cover. Man, I dunno. Oklahoma has a terrific offense, but Bama can really strangle teams at times. Ole Miss, bad as they were, were a Top 10 offense and only scored one touchdown (on the first play of the game) and LSU and Mississippi State were shutout. Ole Miss was the what now?
  12. Why doesn't Russell's wife have to go to therapy?
  13. Christmas came early
  14. What was the point of that timeout? Was the defense call not correct or something? My assumption was he figured 17 seconds was enough time that they'd hold them call, another TO and force a punt for a shot at a return TD. Apparently the concept of 47 seconds to have an actual drive for a FG was beyond the pale for Daniel.
  15. Fun fact: you are older than any of the conference championship games. It's absolutely amazing to me that people act like these stupid money grab title games (two of which today featured teams ND has already beaten, for the record) are now sacrosanct. lol who said anything about them being holy? A 13th game is still a 13th game. Doesn’t matter I suppose. If ND has to play Bama it’s going to look the same as it did last time they played. And the Citadel is still not a real game.
  16. I just think they’re better than OSU and Oklahoma They are. But you can’t justify it based on the current metrics the committee uses. Speaking of which, today was a good example of why ND needs to be left out of the playoffs based on principle. - Bama plays a 13th game and their Heisman QB leaves on a cart. - Notre Dame players are sitting in their apartments playing Red Dead Redemption. Let’s call Bamas 13th game The Citadel and call it even
  17. Because they blew a lead against Bama? Because they beat...Florida?
  18. And I know he's getting old, but he was a perfectly cromulent defender at 2B last year.
  19. Being similar in how a grievance would be allowed is not the same as the likelihood of success. Russell is still subject to arbitration in future years with his new team, and the negative signal of being cut by a team that would have kept him without the DV is pretty straight forward. Bryant being held back 11 days cost him a year of free agency. This would be giving Russell that ability to negotiate with 29 other teams early. It doesn't matter that he's subject to arbitration in the following years, his baseline is either going to be higher or the other 29 teams agreed that he wasn't worth the contract he'd get by being tendered a contract. If he wants to plead collusion at that point, whatever, I still don't see how that goes anywhere.
  20. And what happened with Bryant's grievance? Boras would have no case. He's going to argue against free agency?
  21. If OSU beats the piss out of Northwestern and OU wins a standard Big 12 55-52 game, the farts will put OSU over them.
  22. Don't call it that.
  23. Broken English is good, just tiny. Smoque is great but I feel like other cities do BBQ better so I wouldn’t make it a destination.
  24. What type of food are you looking for? Nice steakhouse, Chicago pizza, grab n go local food? All of the above? ETA: Agreed with Constable on the walk, it'd probably quicker as well.
  25. OSU beat 1 ranked team that year prior to its drubbing of Wisconsin. They have 2 this year including a fresh beating of Michigan in a rivalry game. Oklahoma's resume is no better than TCU of that year. Unless it's all based on OU's name, I'm not seeing the difference.
