All mocks had him late 1st/early 2nd, no? I don't worry too much once you get that far into the draft - you're just hoping for role players. As you mentioned, Gibson and Butler turned out well...and Gibson in particular was considered a reach. Yeah, agreed. Guys who can defend and hit 3s are very valuable right now. Snell looks like he may be able to do both at an above average level in the NBA. For the record I would have gone Dieng if the choice were up to me. Above average defenders that are above average 3 point shooters usually aren't found outside the lottery.
