    There's no need to be reckless and let him try and complete the game, but I'd imagine he could go 1 more. Letting him pitch 8 and 9 probably isn't smart though regardless of situation. Assuming he doesn't have like a 10 or less pitch 7th and 8th. you realize he's throwing a no hitter right? just making sure because the way you worded it makes it seem like you randomly were wondering if they'll let him throw a complete game or something Yes I am aware, there's no reason to make him throw 120+ pitches Go eat a sandwich by yourself

    No. Even if Manny isn't toast, he'd be a pinch hitter only. If we didn't sit on our hands all offseason, maybe they could have made things mildly amusing in this scenario.

    As dubious as I am about us signing an upper level free agent, I think the chance drop to 0% if it's going to cost us an early teens draft pick. I don't think it will be a huge concern as I'm guessing Rusin/Wada/Beeler will do a fine job of tanking us a bit as replacements for Hammel and Samardzija

    Guyyyyys. I can't believe you guys hate a really good Cardinal player....wtf guys.... I hate the white sox way more than the cardinals so all I've gathered so far is that you guys hate molina more than other good players because 1) he has neck tattoos 2) he's a cardinal got it dont you think thats kind of meatball? He gets the Jeter treatment from everyone.

    I would imagine optioning him back to Iowa would be a problem and since it's just a one day thing Beeler is getting the call. Once Hammel and/or Shark are gone I'd bet Wada is the first option since it would be more of a rest of the season type situation. I doubt optioning him back would be an issue considering he already was optioned after being added to the 40 man.

    I'd still argue that, or do you think Trout should top out at around a 1.200 OPS? Nevermind that my point was everybody can be wrong about prospects, even Branch Sneakey.
