    You obviously haven't seen him pitch. Felix is a very dominant pitcher and he will be remembered as one of the best pitchers in the history of the game if he doesn't get derailed with injuries. Too bad he isn't going to play in the WBC. The Mariners held him out cause they don't want him to get injured. Also, the Cy Young award is overrated. Well, that's just outrageous. Why? He has some of the best stuff I have ever seen. I was at this game and I can honestly say that I have never seen a 19 year old dominate a major league baseball team like that. For most of the game it was almost like it wasn't even fair. One day soon, he will be known as the best pitcher in baseball. Why?? Because he's 19, has pitched for only 3 seasons, and has amassed a total of 300 innings, 84 of those at the major league level. It's downright insane to say he will finish his career as one of the best ever after that kind of sample size. Especially if the crux of your argument is one game that you saw in person.

    Dark Horse: UNC. If they win out (UVA and Duke) and then win the ACC Tourney (including beating Duke again), they'd have to be considered. That said, this scenario is very unlikely to happen. I still don't think that's enough to get UNC a number 1. I think a team like Texas or even Gonzaga (I hate Gonzaga by the way) would get considered before UNC would. Or if one of Illinois or Ohio St. won the Big 10 tourney. NC has way too many taems to jump to get a 1 seed. Pitt or Tennesee winning their tourney would likely put them ahead as well. i still want no part of UNC in the tourney, though. Eh, other than some teams I think are vastly overrated (Tennesee, FL, Pitt, BC, OK) I'd lump just about every team below Texas down to #25 as about the same.

    Can't believe you left this part out. This is the first I've heard of Williamson being possible trade bait. What would they trade him for, another backup OF? Nah another 2nd baseman.

    MSU could lose its last 3 and they'll still be in. They may drop down to about a 10 seed in that case, but they're definitely in.

Run by Top 3 d-bags in their respective positions across the league (owner, GM, manager) Re: Diminished Skills, I'd read rumors that Thomas was given Reinsdorf's word about the diminished skills clause that it wouldn't be used in the way it was (injury) Thomas put a lot of trust in Reinsdorf and like the colossal prick that he is, Reinsdorf betrayed it.

    DR is the 2nd favorite to win. US is the favorite. Venezuela 3rd. After them it's a big drop off.

    You sure? I figure KU, UNC, and Memphis State give them a run for their $ in that stat. You're kidding....Memphis St is that young? Wow. I heard that quoted on a Georgia Tech radio broadcast. 87% pct of Tech's minutes played are by Fr/So. The other 13% are from the backup PG/SG who is a Jr and the backup C who is a Sr. UNC has gotten a ton of minutes from Noel, Terry, Miller, and Sanders. The young team aspect of UNC has been overplayed because of Hansborough. Sigh, no love for Frasor...Na na na na R-I-C-E RICE

    I'm pretty shocked Lunardi still has us as a 3. I'm inclined to think we can only lose 1 more game (2 if it's the tournament final) the rest of the way to get a 3 seed.
