Yikes, outside your top 50? -
This is hardly a low risk high reward situation. The risk is very real that you threw away $4.5m on a guy that will provide nothing. The reward is maybe one season of a good reliever. the risk also included that fact that when he sucks, his stupid contract will give him way more leash than he deserves. Eh, they dumped Veras way earlier than I expected them to last year.
