Strange flex since they both are. Stop making me dislike the Illini. I caught myself almost rooting for Ohio State today and had to remind myself that I generally like the Illini and I hate Ohio State. Being an innocent bystander in this Michigan hate fest by Illini fans is frustrating since I just want to enjoy my team It's my dislike of Juwan Howard seemingly ducking those games and dissing Northwestern and Maryland along the way. I don't believe he's this sanctimonious great guy the media falls all over themselves to portray either, I'm probably wrong. It's just my irrational hatred of the Fab Five coming through. Looks great, my quibbles would be moving Ohio up a seed. I think the MAC was the best of the single bid conferences(excepting WCC cause I don’t know how to judge them), and it had some depth to it which is rare for a single bid league. So along with that the MVC had nothing beyond Loyola-Drake and Drake’s single win over Loyola is their entire resume. 2 Q3 losses compared to 1Q1 win. Only played 8 Q1/Q2 games(though to their credit went 6-2 in them)

Revisiting what we've done thus far, of the teams we've eliminated, only 3 are still playing with a chance to keep improving their resume. Colgate - in a terrible league, can only hurt their resume with a loss Memphis - has the chance to face Houston if they meet in the semis, but Wichita or SMU beating them in the final seems to undo some of that. Mississippi - They don't get the shot at Alabama as an at-large eligible, get LSU, then they hope Arkansas before falling to Bama.

Texas swept Texas Tech so obviously...but Texas Tech was swept by West Virginia and Okie State, oh well then given how OK State finished...but they were swept by a terrible TCU team...

The first 2 rounds will run Friday-Monday. All first four games will be played on that Thursday. The 2nd weekend will run Saturday-Tuesday

Maryland also has it open with surrounding games on the 8th and 14th. They are the only other one of our single game opponents available.

Yeah, I think trading Hendricks would be a sign that we're fully turning the page. At that point you've absolutely got to do Contreras as well. I actually don't like the idea of trading Bryant in that case though. If we're just fully trolling for value, hold onto the one year guys til the summer. At least one of them will go off and be mega valuable in July. Don't settle for modest value here in January. You think trading Hendricks is a sign they’re turning the page? Trading Hendricks is driving back to the library at 11:30 pm and putting the book in the night time deposit slot and accidentally throwing your keys in the slot as well only to realize this wasn’t a library but a closed down bank branch slated for demolition at midnight.
