Rich Hill had 50-60 IPs before he got it. Cust had ~180 PAs before he got it. Pena had 1900 PAs before this season.

Watching it live, I thought they got screwed on the Tex single and the Francouer dive back to 2nd. Watching the replay and freeze framing, I'm pretty sure Tex was safe. Francouer, couldn't get a good angle of it, but it was definitely close. It was a nice deke by Francouer to stop short and go around, 50-50 he was out on that. -
Dick Stockton is terrible.

I think it really explains a lot about why Cubs fans still hold him in such high regard. Anything that the've done good in the past decade has involved Wood. You could say that about a lot of guys. No you can't. That's the point. Kerry's been the one constant the past decade. He's been loyal to the Cubs, has always taken responsibilty for himself and has been slagged for no reason by many people. There's no reason not to love Kerry.

The guys I'm going to root for to win the game for the Cardinals are Schumaker, Cairo, Wainwright, Wellemeyer, and Percival. I mean sure I'll take a Jim Edmonds walk off grand slam, but it would be way sweeter if it was one of the 5 guys I can stand.

Pujols pinch hit in every game of the Astros series. Edmonds pinch hit during the series as well. There's a chance Pujols could start, and in the very least they should both be able off the bench.

People are pretty split on Santo. Nobody thinks he's a good announcer per say, but many people enjoy his fan-like take on the game. You have to realize that you're not going to get any analysis with him, or any real insight, but you'll get somebody invested into the team. Kinda like watching the game with you crazy uncle. Pat Hughes works wonders to make Ron tolerable. With an average PBP man, Ron would be really annoying to Cubs fans too I think.

Yes. And it's BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD. That's a shame, Bret Harrison's awesome. This is where Raisin responds about how he met him one time, but was too busy talking to (insert celebrity he namedrops here) to get to know him too well. Seemed like an alright guy.
