i'm sorry, are we of the belief that wrigley isn't a mess? Are we of the belief the renovation was not necessary? Yeah, that's the real issue I have with it. That and the portrayal that this was part of some planning screw up rather than a fluke occurrence. They had enough bathrooms, but a set of them failed opening night. I'm not sure how close to the renovations that failure was or how tied in it was, but in any case, short of having tens of thousands of people do a dry run, I don't think that problem is forseeable based on what we know. Of course, I don't expect that type of nuance from Deadspin, so it's just an annoyance seeing them run a half dozen stories in a week about it. It'd be one hell of a coincidence that said fluke occurence happened at Wrigley following offseason renovations.
