    I still have this sinking feeling Hendry thinks Randy Wolf is the answer to the rotation question. It's why I've been ecstatic with his recent meltdown.

    Now I will concede to you that a Dusty Baker managed team, I could see a loss like last night carrying over. Not saying it would have, but that's the type of situation(a clueless scapegoating manager) where I could see some negative momentum affecting things.

    Who does he replace though? He's not better than Quentin, Drew, Bradley, or Sizemore. He should replace Crede, I haven't a clue what he's doing on the team. They already have a backup 3B in Guillen. How Crede made it over Longoria is a mystery to me. I think Francona still has some bad blood flowing from that Rays/ Red Sox fight. Out of the White Sox, I think Dye and Pierzynski deserved it more than Crede. I know you can't make an across the board comparison because of positional needs, but looking over the White Sox, I'd say Crede is somewhere around the 9th most deserving all star on the team.

    I can understand throwing too low or too high. But how does a pitcher throw 10 feet wide of the bag from 50 feet away?

    That learning/adjusting is going to have to include learning how to walk or hit for power.

    Strange, they don't have Brendan Lane committed to UCLA. The Wear twins are so ridiculously overhyped it's not even funny. Why are twins always ranked next to each other? Seems lazy.

    Not quite as bad as Jason Varitek and his .217 average being named to the team. It wasn't even Francona getting his guy on the team, it was the dopey players. Pierzynski probably deserved it, but they all hate him so he wasn't getting their vote. Odd that Pudge wouldn't have got it though, if you're going with reputation for being good.

    I'm a little disappointed Brandon Paul hasn't made the big leap that many were expecting from him. I'm getting really excited about Tyler Griffey though

    Excellent! How long before he gets sent to Iowa to see if he can keep this up against better hitters? Slow down. 1 more start at Mesa at the very least, and I'd prefer 2. From there probably 3 starts in AAA(I'd do AA, but it's not a big deal) then majors if he keeps it up. It's a big step, but there's still a lot ahead of him.

    That'd be pretty awesome if they don't get CC and wind up giving up LaPorta or Gamel for a Bedard or Wolf.

    If you foe every pessimistic poster here you're going to be talking to yourself by October. it would just be me, truffle and ryan and im pretty sure they would rebel against me I think I'd almost feel obligated to.
