  1. He has a history of arm problems, therefore he has cancer.
  2. Cubs: 6 runs scored, 10 LOB: 6/16 = 37.5% efficiency Brewers: 4 runs scored, 5 LOB: 4/9 = 44.4% efficiency 37.5% < 44.4%. Thus, the Cubs blew more chances than the Brewers, but still won. Make sense now? This is all I am trying to say. You show up here with a backhanded compliment with the caveat that you think the Brewers beat themselves, because they somehow failed to convert 100% of their chances, as if that is somehow abnormal. I respond by stating the Cubs really should've done more with the chances they had. Thus, the game shouldn't have been that close. Thankfully, they pulled it out anyway, but deserved the win. It's not that hard, really. Brewers... 1. Missed a run by calling Hart out at 3rd. 2. Weeks gives away 2 runs on a easy double play ball. 3. Torres walks 3 guys in the 9th. 4. We have Ned Yost as our manager and thats not fair. 5. Hall if he was in position would of gotten Cedeno out at 3rd. 6. Infield single by Fukudome that Weeks should of handled. 7. DeRosa infield single that Hall should of made a play on. Yes, I belive the Brewers lost this game. We dont always have to agree. I dont agree with you. Get It? You seem to have a problem with the lack of agreement. And I re-watched the Hart double, I'm pretty sure Ramirez blocked the bag and got the tag down. Certainily not as much of a certainty as you k eep claiming it was.
  3. I'd imagine they have them outside of Wrigley at whatever the place is with all the sherseys. I seem to remember seeing them at one of the outdoor vendors as well.
  4. Yeah, Kendall probably ain't gonna chase, let him ground out to 2nd.
  5. That was much prettier. Listen to the crowd, wonderful.
  6. Fontenot probably would have barreled over Kendall, unlike Lee who just crumples to the ground and lets himself be tagged out. Wonder what row Fontenot would've landed in.
  7. Alright. I call your bluff. Find them. I fold. You've been optimistic tonight.
  8. Only problem is, Wood doesn't sound like he's anything near close to returning. And I mean, who misses a month with a blister? Honestly? Kerry Wood I guess. And I was roundly mocked in the Kerry Wood thread when I said "And so it begins." Guess I'm not so stupid after all, am I boys? You were pretending like he was going to have TJS in a few weeks. I think he still thinks it. No, I don't think he'll have TJS. But I did say it was probably going to be worse than "a week" or "two or three days" like everyone was saying, simply because he's Kerry Wood. And people thought I was stupid. Guess I was right. Are we keeping score now? I can probably find 10 losses in this game thread alone. It's easy to be right once or twice when you predict the worst on everything.

  10. Only problem is, Wood doesn't sound like he's anything near close to returning. And I mean, who misses a month with a blister? Honestly? Kerry Wood I guess. Josh Beckett's the most famous. Others have as well. It happens.
  11. you think they'd foolishly waste a 40-man spot on Hill again? They're gonna have to waste a 40 man roster spot on some 3rd catcher. Might as well be Hill rather than digging up Mike DiFelice's corpse again. so what do they do with Jake Fox, drop him? I don't know when the last time Fox caught was, but whenever it was, I'm sure he was doing it poorly.
  12. Game threads are pretty intolerable unless we're up by 6.
  13. No teams really do. That's why it's such a big deal when a guy actually does it.
