Nah, they're doomed forever because they have some guys lacking in surplus value. The only reason that isn't that big of a problem for them is that they happened upon the greatest example of surplus value and the greatest young player any of us will probably ever see so lol. I'm not gonna say there was no skill to winding up with him, but the rest of their track record with drafting and development lately really doesn't help their case. In short, it's entirely justifiable to make fun of them. How'd they manage to win 98 games last year with all those rotten contracts on the book and an apparent shitty developmental system?
