    I really really like that Wittenmeyer considers Ibanez athletic. I also like that Piniella's comments are pretty much carbon copy of what he was saying leading up to the Harden deal. Wittenmeyer's a sensationalist hack.

    It's hard for him to baselessly call someone out when there are no games going on.

    He usually gets better around tournament time, but he's considered an expert because he averages about 64/65 teams in the tournament every year. That looks impressive, but there's usually only a few slots in question on Selection Sunday. If my full time job was to predict the bracket I'm pretty sure I could average that. If I remember correctly our NSBB committee only missed one team this last year, and most of our individual rankings were very close as well. And we weren't even trying to project what would happen, just what should happen. Lunardi is no doubt Jerry Mathers incarnate, but man I hope Purdue fans complaining about a lack of respect aren't the new Illinois/Indiana this year.

    When we fought the U of I football team they got in their cars and left before things got out of hand. They may have been 1-11 that year, but at least they were intelligent.
