  1. Wes Saver, i.e. Yagyu from the old PSD message board. I don't remember if he ever made the move to NSBB or not after getting banned over there. It turned into a dumpster fire. But he's been doing this for years. It was an invaluable resource back in the days before bonus pool limits went into effect. We let Yags do the dirty work in stalking the twitter accounts of 18 year olds to see if they were going to sign or not. Dude was money.
  2. As for the draft itself, I wonder how much Duce Robinson is needing to split his time between pro baseball and USC football. He's been linked to the Cubs in a couple places and is still sitting there.
  3. It's very, very similar to the 2019 draft for me. McAvene = Wiggins. Hearn/Herz = Rosario/Melendez. Strumpf = Rivera. Sanders = Clarke/Schlaffer. Luckily Shaw is considerably better than Ryan Jensen in the 1st round.
  4. They must have drafted this guy to make Madrigal feel good about his power. Career ISO of .054 in the Big 10. 😄
  5. He’s a prototype RF prepster. Huge power potential. Huge arm (clocked at 101 by PG). Good athleticism. Assuming he has swing and miss issues but have nothing concrete on that.
  6. And over $400K for overages. That’s not counting any senior signs in rounds 8-10.
  7. Wolkow would be fun to add, for sure. Will Gasparino would be my top choice, if they have enough money for him. Have to assume Cam Johnson is off to LSU.
  8. Pretty sure he does. I haven’t seen lower than 55 put on his speed and multiple 60s. Perfectly fine with Shaw there. I think he actually has more potential impact than he’s given credit for, but still is safe enough to let the Cubs swing for the fences later on.
  9. I could be talked into pretty much any option at 13 that isn't one of the low exit velo hitters. So naturally that means the Cubs will take Jacob Wilson.
  10. Friendly reminder that since the middle of May (164 PAs) he’s been a .300/.360/.507 hitter.
  11. I'm actually a pretty big fan of Schanuel, but I 100% get this. This type of pick is much easier to stomach in the 20's, rather than at 13.
  12. Damn. PCA just made a ridiculous catch to end the 1st. Raisin, you better find the highlight reel of it and post it here. Edit: I will count that as your punishment for saying Triantos was fine over 2 weeks ago, despite the fact that he hasn't played since being removed early.
  13. Yet another game without Triantos in the lineup for SB. Boo.
  14. PCA just took his 3rd BB of the game.
  15. Triantos out of the lineup tonight after being taken out early last night.
  16. I didn’t get to watch tonight. Why was Triantos pulled early?
