  1. I wouldn't be shocked at all to see him get more than Rosario.
  2. 20th and final Round - Drew Bowser, 3B - Stanford Bowser was a top 100 type prospect coming out of HS in 2020. Big time power. Big time swing and miss. Has been solid but hasn't lived up to the hype at Stanford. Seems like a guy that would bet on himself and his tools to go back to school for one more year.
  3. 19th Round - Nick Dean, RHP - Maryland Couldn't find much about him other than he, like so many others in this draft, dealt with injuries. Supposedly has a really good changeup. Below average fastball.
  4. 18th Round - Brian Kalmer, 1B/3B - Gonzaga Played at 3 different colleges in his 4 years. Big ISOs his past 2 years to go along with big K rates.
  5. Can't imagine he signs, given how good he looked as a Freshman and how bad of a year he just had.
  6. 14th Round - Grayson Moore, RHP - Vandy Strictly a reliever in college. Another Cape performer who was really good last summer.
  7. 12th Round - Carter Trice, 2B - NC State I got nothing on him other than his stats. Transferred from Old Dominion. Strikes out a ton. Was pretty terrible on the Cape last summer in a week and a half worth of games. Hit for nice power at Old Dominion.
  8. Zyhir Hope, HS OFer is the 11th rounder. Unranked by MLB. Prospects Live has him 137th in the draft. Says he has power/speed combo with CF defense.
  9. Wes Saver, i.e. Yagyu from the old PSD message board. I don't remember if he ever made the move to NSBB or not after getting banned over there. It turned into a dumpster fire. But he's been doing this for years. It was an invaluable resource back in the days before bonus pool limits went into effect. We let Yags do the dirty work in stalking the twitter accounts of 18 year olds to see if they were going to sign or not. Dude was money.
  10. As for the draft itself, I wonder how much Duce Robinson is needing to split his time between pro baseball and USC football. He's been linked to the Cubs in a couple places and is still sitting there.
  11. It's very, very similar to the 2019 draft for me. McAvene = Wiggins. Hearn/Herz = Rosario/Melendez. Strumpf = Rivera. Sanders = Clarke/Schlaffer. Luckily Shaw is considerably better than Ryan Jensen in the 1st round.
  12. They must have drafted this guy to make Madrigal feel good about his power. Career ISO of .054 in the Big 10. 😄
  13. He’s a prototype RF prepster. Huge power potential. Huge arm (clocked at 101 by PG). Good athleticism. Assuming he has swing and miss issues but have nothing concrete on that.
  14. And over $400K for overages. That’s not counting any senior signs in rounds 8-10.
  15. Wolkow would be fun to add, for sure. Will Gasparino would be my top choice, if they have enough money for him. Have to assume Cam Johnson is off to LSU.
