    I was just joking because he didn’t play in game 2 of a DH and didn’t play tonight. He was HBP in his debut, but I didn’t see anything suggesting he was injured because of it.

    Also allows a lot of flexibility with Brown/Cabrera/Rea and the pen.

    I love Mo Baller, but Zeferjahn is pretty legit and has over 4 years of team control. His numbers since the arbitary cutoff of June 1st (26 appearances): 15.23 K/9, 4.85 BB/9, 1.38 ERA, 2.07 xERA, 2.56 FIP, 2.61 xFIP. Have to give to get.

    Eovaldi has given up 24 bombs this year. Please look elsewhere.

    Fangraphs show a small dip from 2025, but it’s still a tiny bit higher than 2024, and it’s basically in line with his career. Don’t see an issue there, unless it’s gotten a lot worse as the season has progressed. Haven’t looked at that yet. Edit: Nope. 94.4 average mph each of his last 2 starts. Velo is fine,

    Gausman for 2 guys that weren’t top 20 in the system (and aren’t even lottery ticket types) is some fine work by Jed.

    Does anyone have any statcast stuff on Jackson? That K rate is horrific for the college game, but you could feel a lot better if the exit velos and such were elite.

    How have his secondaries looked? He has a nice fastball, but the scouting reports I’ve seen have his secondaries as rather lacking.

    Except for the biggest bonus guy not even seeing game action yet. This regime has been fairly pathetic with their biggest bonus babies in LA.
