  1. Sigh. Conrad not even healthy enough for ACL action yet, after a month. Let’s not go down the Brennen Davis path, please.
  2. He's my pick for the 1st round, if he makes it that far. Stud.
  3. I look forward to the impending Juan Cabada breakout.
  4. Have to assume that means the medicals on Hartshorn look really good. Love it!
  5. The elite guys are getting easy 6 figures to go to the SEC or ACC, so you really have to pony up for them. I can't imagine the guys going to non-SEC or ACC schools are getting that much though.
  6. Not that I'm complaining, but it's weird that Tom isn't in here during the draft.
  7. Barring something crazy happening, it looks like Wing and Hartshorn may be huge overslots. I'm going to take the "glass half full" approach and be somewhat excited that the FO found two guys they think so highly of that they would rather blow their entire underslot load on them, rather than spread it out to 4-5 others.
  8. Or Wing and Hartshorn are more overslot than we think and they ate up all the savings.
  9. And another 15 Ks in 7.1 IP on the Cape. I'm down for a hulking lefty back-end reliever.
  10. And blew out his elbow already as well. But you don't get a kid like this in the 6th without some concerns. Perfectly fine rolling the dice here. I think he was 2nd in average exit velo at the draft combine for all HS players.
  11. McKenzie to the Braves. That’s an org that has killed it with prep pitchers lately,
  12. Was perusing Kepley’s baseball cube page again, and saw he had 27 HBP last year, and another 10 on the cape. New market inefficiency is taking guys that opponents can’t help but plunk.
  13. Southisene got an overslot of $1 million, but I feel you. Really didn’t like the Kepley pick there.
  14. Low 90s fastball, plus changeup, below average breaking ball. Let’s hope the lab unlocks some stuff
