  1. AZPhil updated the pitching comments. Arias has been moved to the pen at AA, and Gallardo has been bumped to the rotation. Tennessee is now Horton/Franklin/Birdsell/Nolan/Gallardo. Have to imagine Arias's presence on the 40 man facilitated this.
  2. I'm sure this class is probably better than I give it credit for, but after the ridiculous 2023 draft, this one looks really mediocre.
  3. Hitters Sleeper: I would have said Zyhir Hope 😔 . I will go with Angel Cepeda. Keeper: Josh Rivera Weeper: Alexander Canario Pitchers Sleeper: Nazier Mule Keeper: Drew Gray Weeper: Michael Arias
  4. Tough to see anyone other than Yamamoto winning the NL ROY as long as he stays healthy.
  5. Absolutely this. I was kind of hoping for one of these trades this offseason, tbh.
  6. Not close, YET. Would anyone at all be surprised if the Dodgers signed another big money FA?
  7. He looks closer to 5'9" and 225. At least on video.
  8. Love watching this kid hit. He has such a good feel of the zone.
  9. Dang. He was a fun pop up this year. Hopefully it's nothing that requires surgery. 124 wRC+ on the year. 146 wRC+ after it warmed up in mid-May.
  10. No Shaw in his first game at AA is a bit of a letdown today.
  11. And another. 4 for 5 with 4 xbhs tonight.
  12. Another Canario bomb. Dude is on quite a heater.
  13. It's a Votto starter kit for me.
  14. And a solo bomb in the 1st inning in game 2.
  15. Luis Devers is having himself a terrific start to August.
  16. Nobody is going to give him enough credit because his season long K rate is an ugly 32.1%. I'm sure he'll be on a lot of "just missed" lists with the blurb about his K rate dropping to 25% after they got rid of the pre-tacked balls.
  17. Shaw sitting for a second straight game.
  18. Loving that exit velo from Melendez. Hope with a very impressive first couple games as a pro. This is exactly the type of start I was hoping to see from Rujano.
  19. Dude has been so unlucky in this regard this year.
  20. Rosario and Long making their debuts tonight.
  21. 8 through 3. Almost surely done at over 50 pitches. 0 hits allowed. 1 BB
  22. Ferris with 6 Ks through 2.
  23. Both Ks on fastballs in the 3rd. Just blew it past them.
