J.D. Drew is an injury risk. He is currently recovering from three injuries. He is under Dodger control. J.D. Drew, when healthy can produce .900 ish OPS. He bats left handed. He plays right field. I haven't heard anything at all about the Dodgers not wanting Drew back, but does anyone think the Cubs could/ should try to make a trade for him? IF healthy, he is in my opinion the best player to solve several problems (OBP, vacancy in right field, left handed) for the Cubs. I'm not very good at these trade proposals, but do any of you think the Cubs could throw quite a bit at the Dodgers, perhaps offering to "take Bradley off their hands", and get him? This is all off the top of my head, but I think he's owed 10 million over the next 3 to 4 years. Risky, I know, and the only reason I could see the Dodgers dealing him. Thoughts?
