    the cubs usually don't hit schmidt. just as expected.

    dang. finley's ops is .856. he sucked last year, and if the cubs picked him up, he'd be at .666. :(

    He's looked good considering the circumstances (bonds going for 714). Can't expect much better considering his experience.

    well, was just going to praise the guy. :( how many pitches has he thrown now?

    The Cubs need to gain more slugging. They have enough single's hitters. They'd gain over 200 points in ops, and Cedeno looks like he can be an adequate leadoff man. If Cedeno was struggling, I'd be pretty hesitant to deal off Pierre, but the Cubs need a shake up and a lot more power.
