A Todd Walker double mixed with some single's for an OBP of .350+ is far better in the lead off spot than Juan Pierre's rare single's and stolen bases to the tune of a sub .300 OBP. Granted, it would be nice if Walker had Cedeno type speed, but I'd sacrifice the speed for better OBP. without lee, gotta keep walker batting 3rd now. he's one of the few guys w/ some power. if lee's back, sure i'd take walker batting leadoff cause sub 300 obp is awful, but gotta manufacture some runs w/out lee and cedeno's better served for that. if the skid gets to 10, shake it up & go w/ cedeno, murton, walker, aram, barrett, jones, pierre, nef... when lee returns, I still go w/ that top 3 and bat lee and aram 4 & 5. at least they'll have guys on.
