    So, if Lake has the ceiling of a Hanley Ramirez type, who would you compare Lee to. From what I have read on here I would say he sounds kind of like Furcal. Is that an accurate projection?

    I'm torn. I want Kerry to get a ring but I don't want the Yankees to win the WS. Decisions, decisions. I like the Yanks so its not a real tough decision for me. Now if he had gone to the Cards, Mets, or Any color Sox I would have a tough time.

    I really wish you would give an explanation on your hatred for Dempster, because it really makes zero sense at all. Yes, please explain. Dempster has been on of our best pitchers the last few years.

    Not sure where this belongs and I don't think it needs its own thread, but I have a question about Andrew Cashner. Was there a reason that he was a reliever in college? Did he have any injury history or were the starters on that team that much better than him, or was it just the best fit for the team?

    The way it works. He's going to birdie 18 here and be extremely happy at 6 under. Pulled the birdie putt left to finish at -5. Hes still got to be pretty happy. Hopefullly he can turn it on and become Tiger again.

    I would go as far as to say the Buck and McCarver do have a specific team. We should all be greatfull that they share their talents with the rest of the league.

    Has anybody heard what Allen Iverson is planning on doing. I heard he was wanting to come back and whoever he signs with immediately becomes my favorite team.

    I read on my fantasy baseball league homepage that the Red Sox and Jocoby Ellsbury aren't getting along too well. Would there be any possibility or interest in swapping him and Fukudome. I havent watched him play that much so I don't know if he is someone we should be interested in anyway.

    We've never had a situation like this, so who knows? But I'm hard pressed to remember a team that didn't win with an inside presence. The Lakers went from nothingness with Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom (way better than Chris Bosh) to a juggernaut with the addition of Pau Gasol. Dwight Howard may not have an inside game, but I'm not sure how needed it will be if he's facing up against Dexter Pittman. The 90s Bulls didn't have a strong inside presence. I believe you are forgetting the Bill Wennington Luc Longley combo which could only be measured in greatness with Kevin McHale Robert Parish Duo. And if they had won a championship we would be talking about the tandem of Rik Smits and Greg Kite.

    Why don't they let the fans vote (so we can still feel special) but just change the numbers and put the deserving people in.

    I never want them to lose, but it takes the sting off a little when they are running into each other and throwing the ball all over the place. Its like watching your kid's tee ball game, aww look how cute they are trying to play like big kids.

    In what context was he saying this? Was it, he should start taking grounders so he can see how hard that play he was mad at Lee is, or he should start taking grounders at first because he would be a better bat than Lee? Sorry about the run-on sentence.

    I voted for Lou but I didn't think about this. I actually wanted to vote for neither but I don't think Lou will be back next year.

    :-)) Also happy that we don't want to give Lee any chance to build off having a good game. Lou on top of it as always Did Lee tweek something last night? I can't think of any other reason why he would'nt play him tonight.
