  1. He's too good for AA. I would've liked to see how he handled AAA for a couple of weeks but I don't have a huge problem with this. Kinda surprised that they would move Theriot when he's been playing well. Anyways, I'm excited to see what the kid can do.
  2. Read a few Mariner forums today. They're the exact opposite of Cubs fans when it comes to Bradley. I think they're wrong, but it was kinda fascinating to read.
  3. If A-Ram can get going it wouldn't surprise me if we ripped off 11 of 15 or something similar. A lot of other guys are swinging hot bats.
  4. Soriano must've read Moneyball or something.
  5. Colvin either has a really long swing or it just looks that way when he swings and misses.
  6. I don't have anything against Harden. I was as excited as anyone when we acquired him. I just found the extremely negative reaction to letting him go in the off-season to be comical. I think he could still have a good career as a reliever, but he doesn't have much value as a starter anymore IMO.
  7. *Bows to the greatest 4 2/3 pitcher in the world..* It's nice of you to pay the proper respects to the guy who keeps long relievers in business.
  8. A gimmick that would have made sense 10 years ago. Today? Not so much. I don't think many Cubs or Sox fans are all that more amped up for that series.
  9. Wells has decent enough stuff and throws strikes. That's a pretty good recipe for success in the NL. People had doubts about him on this board mainly due to the fact that he isn't a big, shiny name like the great Rich Harden.
  10. Colvin and Theriot are on fire. They must feed from the hate they get on this board.
  11. Soto has been outstanding. Starting pitching continues to excel. Now about that offense and bullpen......
  12. Really excited that most of our top guys are performing well so far.
  13. After all that's been written, it'd be really awesome if Colvin ended up being better than Travis Snider.
  14. Game is flying by. Whatever happens today it looks like Silva might be useful this season.
  15. I'm almost positive it was 2-1 on Zaun and I'm the only one who nocticed.
  16. That was....not good. Don't crap the bed, Shark.
  17. Ump has been brutal so far. Suppan just got a pitch Z was not getting all game.
  18. I really wish we had another reliable pen arm. I like our starters and our offense should be good enough. But it's tough to win when there just aren't any reliable bridge guys.
  19. Looked great early but ran out of gas in the 5th. Milwaukee deserves some credit, though. Couple of really nice at-bats against him. Great win!
  20. "We got enough runs, let's hold 'em."
  21. Good comeback win. Really pleased with the way the starters are throwing. Aramis is swinging way too hard. He's missing good pitches to hit because he's trying to hit it 500 feet.
  22. Silva is a BP pitcher. Changeups and below average fastballs right over the plate. He's been very lucky tonight.
