  1. ran out to LF to make a difficult catch in foul territory Was that in foul territory? I thought it was still fair when he made the catch. i think it was just on the foul side of the chalk

  3. Contrary to what Brantley says... Lilly's looking pretty sharp tonight!
  4. nice catch by Rammy... now Brantley's bashing Floyd... what a ......!
  5. What did he say?? He said Lilly made no adjustments as a pitcher and thats why he isn't very good, or something. Quite a thing to say when he's owning the Reds. He also said Arroyo was gonna homer off Lilly like he did with Rusch last yr.
  6. MLB Premium is working just fine.. with the exception of having to listen to Brantley
  7. hahahahaha.... poor execution by the reds on the bunt pop up
  8. Thanks Vance... I thought it was Brantley, but wasn't sure... got I hate him!
  9. good patience shown by Izzy... RBI single!
  10. I think it's because the broadcast is in HD on Fox, so I believe the picture is cropped. BTW... who is the [expletive] making my ears bleed with Thom Brennamen?? Ok, I've seen like three posts from you in the last two days. You're doing a real bad job of lurking. gotta catch up to 98!

  12. Looks like I'm gonna have to change the evil monkey's jersey.... :?
  13. I really wouldn't lose any sleep over the loss of the superstation... gives me a reason to finally dump the 'superstation package' on my cable subscription! I can still watch the games [and then some] on TV via MLB.TV on the computer.
  14. My sig shows who I'm endorsing....
  15. Two in one day? holy carp. Amazing, eh?!?! LOL
  16. Especially for us posters [under 1000 posts] that have been here from the beginning!
  17. Every penny... I even talked them into giving me the intro rate of $29.95 and it hasn't reverted back to the $45/mo. in 2.5 years! I don't know about the $50-100 install fee, I don't recall paying that much when I first signed up.. but then again it was 9 yrs ago!
  18. The HD service thru TWC-SA is about $15 extra (box and HD channels) I'm trying to move down to Austin and looked at getting TWC, but it appears that Grande is quite a bit cheaper. What kind of experience do you have with both of them? I've been with TWC since 1998 when RoadRunner became available here in New Braunfels. Before that I had DishNetwork. I don't have any gripes really with TW, I can't even remember the last time my service went out, if ever! I get over 6 Mbps on the downloads with RR. But I wish they offered more HD channels at this time, but they're on their way! Tons of OnDemand channels, so if you don't have a DVR, there will be no problem to catch a replay of your favorite shows.

  20. is HD really that big of a difference? I could understand not wathcing b/c it was the cards and indians....but not b/c it wasn't HD I find it difficult to watch anything that isn't HD now. I'll still watch my favorite teams in non-HD, but it's a real struggle. Once you go HD, it's all that matters. I'm with you all the way on that, Soul! Once you go HD, SD is just not the same! Think of it along the lines of having High Speed Internet and then having to revert back to dialup... that pretty much sums it up! That is a horrible comparison. I get to watch HD when I go home (my parents have it) but don't mind coming back and watching tv on SD. But I have to deal with slower internet at work (not dialup but not nearly as fast as the internet in my apartment) and it would be horrible to have to use dialup. SD just seems 'fuzzy' to me now when I watch it. I've become accustomed to seeing the details in HD when I watch sporting events... even be it a blade of grass, the knit in the jerseys, sweat beading off the players forehead, etc... You don't get that in 4:3 SD format. And Discovery HD Theater is the bomb when it comes to crystal clear programming!
