Schwarber is going to test the Cubs' resolve to try him as a catcher, because as a hitter he's as ML-ready as Bryant was a year ago. I suspect the experiment to make him a full-time catcher ends after this season, and he's the guy we're checking off Xs on the calendar for service time next April. He's a starting LF who can be a third catcher on the roster and a lefty power bat with patience and high contact rate - that's plenty to be excited about.
