To reenterate, losing this game is NOT an option! With the Reds sending some guy named "Homer" out there to face Carpenter in St. Louis, I figure they cruise. The Cubs will bunch some hits against this fossil tonite. ;)

THAT fellow won't be on the mound tonite. Just an old half shot multi-millionaire that doesn't know when to quit. To see that [expletive] get shelled out of the park would be wonderful. But it must be done quickly as his tank will be empty by the 5th. I concider this game to be important after that thing last night. Losing is really not an option.

I used to read one, but it was so boring I had to give it up. I don't remember anything negative about ANY Brewers player being discussed.

He/she is saying we might have to root for the Cardinals to beat other wild card contenders so we can win the WC. Her post didn't make sense though, considering the Cards don't even play the Giants anymore this season. They do play Colorado in late September though, and we may be rooting for them in that series. Sorry, I know the Cards make a west coast swing soon. Thot they would play the Giants.

It may come down to that, or visa versa....odds are very good that the Cubs/Cards will finnish 1-2. It may come down to knocking S.F. out of the wild card! That would be something, Huh?
