Barry Rozner continues to astound with his stupidity: In his article this morning he joins the knuckle draggers clamoring for John Scott. In one part of the article he claims that “The Hawks — 15th in hits during the regular season — might need to think about dressing John Scott.” and called the game "nothing short of embarrassing." However, in the same column!!! he says "the Hawks were the better team the final two periods, which bodes well for the rest of the series" So let make sure I understand your point Barry. It was embarrassing that he Hawks playing the #1 seed, President Trophy winning team who lead or nearly lead in every major category this year managed to control the game for 2 periods. So John Scott taking ice time from a player who has more than one aspect to their game would be less embarrassing? My memory is a little fuzzy, but I seed to remember the Hawks winning something of minor significance last year relying on speed, skill and taking advantage of other teams having guys out of position trying to take a run at our skill players. If we play like we did last night for the rest of the series, it's going 6 or 7 and I like our chances
