  1. Stats still argue in Cutler's favor, not against him. Average QB rating is around 80 I believe. So other than 2009, he's been an above-average QB who doesn't deserve what is thrown at him. He'd have easily cracked 4,000 yards this year if not for the injuries. Raw is right, it's the character/persona more than anything. People are just [expletive] sometimes.
  2. I take my team of Newton, Charles, Lacy, A.J. Green, A. Brown, Witten, Vereen, Rams D/ST, and Tucker into the Final in my 12-team money league for the second time in three years, where it will be a re-match of our title game in 2011; facing the same guy and hoping for the same result. I have to face Kirk Cousins against Dallas, McCoy against Bears, Zac Stacy, Vernon Davis, Seahawks D/ST. His WRs are garbage though: Hartline, Golden Tate, Emmanuel Sanders, Cotchery. Cousins and McCoy won't be stopped, but as long as nobody on my team takes a dump I should have a pretty good chance.
  3. Wow, those are some crazy numbers for kickers. Our commish went with 4 for 50+, 3 for 40-49, 2 for 39 or less, and 1 for XP. Can't say I disagree with deflation, kickers are pretty much a crapshoot and shouldn't have a huge impact on fantasy matchups, IMO.
  4. Good news is Baltimore is just as desperate for a win. My gut tells me if Detroit wins tonight they'll end up taking the division. Giants have quit. Although the Vikings at home with Cassel have a fighting chance against Detroit I would think, and hopefully AP comes back for that.
  5. I have Charles and Lacy. Don't need to say much else. Onto the champ game. :good:
  6. Yeah, 3 of the last 4 weeks have seen a GB tie and two 1-point victories. [expletive] off.
  7. Oh is that all Yep, that's it.
  8. Yeah, GB winning doesn't really hurt the Bears' playoffs odds other than having to maybe face Rodgers instead of Flynn. But he was still having pain this past week wasn't he? Pitt can beat them without Rodgers, then they'd have no reason to bring him back Week 17.
  9. Dallas passed on 2nd and 6 essentially needing one more 1st down to end it. They deserved to lose.
  10. McCown's QB rating Monday against Dallas: 141.9 Cutler's 2010 and 2012 wins against Dallas: 136.7, 140.1 McCown isn't the only one who can tear up the Cowboys. Three games in a row now where we've done absolutely whatever we wanted against them offensively. Also, Monday's performance still wasn't as impressive as Cutler's 2010 game against Philly where he threw for 4 TDs 0 INT with a 146.2 rating and none of the receiving weapons McCown had Monday night, except Earl Bennett.
  11. I tell myself every time that I won't read Facebook regarding Cutler/McCown, and every time I do it anyway.
  12. Cutler officially starting, per Trestman. Briggs also practiced today apparently.
  13. Pete Prisco hates him some Bears. Picking against them for the 10th time in 14 games this year.
  14. Panthers. Geno Smith has the lowest fantasy projection I've ever seen for a starting QB, 3.8!
  15. A Bears loss Sunday at the hands of Cutler would result in the most epic meatball explosion this city has ever seen.
  16. Heh, didn't know the Lions played McCown at WR in 2006. Had 2 catches for 15 yards, and never threw a pass for them. Useless knowledge for the day.
  17. Yeah gotta have Briggs in there for McCoy in 2 weeks.
  18. Dolph Lundgren is allowed to hate porn.
  19. Yeah I don't see anything wrong with what Marshall said. He got his 100 yards and a win, I don't imagine he has much to be bitter about this week. I think the no career playoff appearances thing wears on him more than anything. Awesome win tonight. Season is relevant again at least for another week. I don't really have any faith in the Lions losing another game this year though, even though it's the Lions. I have to imagine next week is probably our best chance to overtake them.
  20. Eek. Always been a fan of the 6-team playoffs so the top two teams get rewarded with byes. I understand having more if your league is bigger than 12 though. Rolled my opponent today. The Charles, Lacy, and Vereen trio is too damn fun. Will be sad to see it end. Have to face arguably the best team in the league in next week's semifinals, although he has Peterson and Gronk so we'll see what happens there.
  21. Yeah, would hate seeing this team take a step back at QB after seeing what the offense has become this year. Just bring him back, don't really care how at this point.
  22. I'd consider Julio Jones too if someone dropped him after he went on IR. I think I'd keep him over Jeffery.
  23. Yeah, if that rule is in effect then waivering Martin would probably be a good idea. Not sure who your other RBs are.
  24. I'm not sure I understand the uncertainty regarding Charles, he is the #1 RB in fantasy this year in every format. Sure there are no guarantees from one year to the next, but it's an easy choice with him being only 26. That's just me though. I have one keeper in my league, and I'm going with Charles over AJ Green, Eddie Lacy, and Antonio Brown. Not even thinking twice about it really.
