  1. In b4 we hang 500 yards and 40 points on the Giants and Old Style recants. They're averaging 36.4 pts allowed through 5 games.
  2. Although I am curious, I don't know where you get "32" for outdoor points for their 6 outdoor games (all road games but ATL and DAL) last year and 1 this year (TB). I get 26.29 points when averaging those 7 games: 27, 27, 35, 14, 38, 27, 16. Oh well, if it makes you feel better about this Sunday's game, go with the 32.
  3. History shows it's practically a fact that NO is less-potent on the road. Now that's not to say it will be enough to keep them from beating the Bears, but a fact nonetheless. It's funny because as Sproles was burning defenders last night I told myself there was no way he runs like that on our green spray painted dirt.
  4. Fortunately we get the Saints at home on a short week for them. Thank God they don't have a Reggie Bush. They'll get their 300+ yards passing or whatever, Graham will be hard to stop, etc. One-dimensional teams scare me a lot less though. Some pressure on Brees would be nice, but probably asking for too much. Their defense is playing well, but they've faced Freeman and Palmer over the past two weeks. Not worried about putting points on the board. It'll be another close one, but if Cutler goes back to the first 3 weeks Jay Cutler, it should be fine.
  5. Has Melton been moved to IR yet? Hoping they bring back Okoye for depth.
  6. http://media1.sulia.com/static/user_images/9/2013-09-23/2ad4d9fb-4c68-4401-bcbe-99b93e26584f.gif
  7. Not feeling good about Melton.
  8. Might as well. A substantial increase in revenue for a hurting franchise if nothing else.
  9. Apparently Cutler is left-handed now.
  10. ESPN's mistake of counting a Bullock FG on a play that was wiped out by penalty gave me a loss by 0.6 pts. :banghead: They better fix.
  11. Gould only went 39 for 61 at PSU, and he might end up being the most accurate kicker in NFL history. Come a long way.
  12. Could be telling the truth, or could be bitter that a large part of the Bears fanbase seemingly moved on from 54 after seeing Bostic. How has the fanbase moved on? I think it just has to do with veteran players always preferring other veteran players over rookies. Meatheads or not, after those couple games Bostic had all I heard from fans was "Urlacher who?". Maybe "large part" was an exaggeration, but at any rate I'm not surprised that Urlacher prefers D.J.

  14. Mondays at work are a little less painful knowing there's football on at night (especially when the Bears are playing), but that's just me.
  15. So much Bengals love. What am I missing? I don't put much weight into what CBS says anyway. I know Miami isn't great, but unanimously picking Cleveland to win has to break some sort of NFL cardinal rule.
  16. Unga just won't go away will he?
  17. Not feeling too good about this one, although I want to.
  18. Britton and Brown can play both G or T, so that made Edwin Williams unnecessary. Also, any word on 3rd RB? I'll admit I'm pulling for Ford.
  19. Nope. 6th and final OT on the roster.
  20. Looks to me like he just went overboard with his performance (or lack thereof) against the Raiders. Probably not thrilled about having to sit on it for two weeks either.
  21. I think we limp into the bye at 4-3, with losses against the Bengals, @Lions, and Giants. After the bye I think we lose @Green Bay, home against Baltimore, and @Minnesota, while winning the rest, including the last 4. That'll give us 10-6 which surely can't keep us out two years in a row. Yeah, analyzing the schedule is mostly pointless, but it's still fun to do.
  22. I'm guessing we'll have to address the depth at CB with Hayden and now Bowman down.
  23. Jeffery definitely looks leaner and a little more ripped this year. Come a long way since the college locker room pic. Having two Marshalls would be nice.
