Bass had a pick 6 against Baltimore last year and played a lot of snaps, due solely to attrition. We used a 6th rounder on Cornelius Washington last year. I don't know why I included him though.

As it stands right now: DE: Allen, Young, Bass, Washington. DT: Ratliff, Paea, Sutton, Ferguson, Collins. DE/DT: Houston, Idonije. Two of Bass/Washington/Collins probably get cut, but still... http://replygif.net/i/1406.gif

Love it. Sutton's closer to a 2nd rounder than Ferguson is.

Excuse my really stupid question, but why do the Bears pick at a different slot every round while a team like GB stays at 21? Is it a playoff thing?

Only one career sack, haha. I don't hate it though, could have been worse. I've never really liked Nix. And 350+ lbs on a bum knee? Pass.

Considering I like Carr more than Bridgewater anyway, I'll take this combo over the Minny one any day. Granted they are picking higher.

By the time this Vikings monster really grows a head, AP will be about finished, so at least there's that.

Tillman, Jennings, Hayden all 30+ in age. Zack Bowman's gone. Frey is the only young CB on the roster who is decent. Fuller will get plenty of playing time and will be a starter by 2015, if not sooner.

Weeks 2 through 8 are just brutal, worse than the 2012 HOU/SF/SEA gauntlet. Of course teams change from year to year, but I don't see any of those teams regressing much from last year. Maybe Carolina? Atlanta will be better though. Could easily be staring at 3-5 heading into the bye. BUT... I think if we can somehow make it through Week 10 @ GB at 5-4, we'll be in good shape, as I'd be disappointed with anything less than 5-2 in those final seven. Of course history has shown that predicting outcomes in April is rather pointless, but it's too damn fun.

Yeah the stout run defenders don't do much for me. That's because it's not 1998 anymore. "Hello - we all weigh over 300 lbs. " - Geno Atkins / Haloti Ngata / Vincent Wilfork / Jay Ratliff / Randy Starks / Linval Joseph / Michael Brockers / Kevin Williams / Marcel Dareus / Ndamukong Suh / Nick Fairley / Kyle Williams EDIT: My point is that if you are drafting a 1st or 2nd Rnd DT he should be able to stop and the run and collapse the pocket. Having smaller DT's that get pushed backwards were a big part of our problem last season. The problem with the DTs they had last year is they were 5th stringers and mostly garbage. This. Landon Cohen should never see an NFL field. I think there was another scrub too but I forgot his name, and rightfully so.
