  1. This. If they want to give up their top prospect and one of their everyday players like Hart or Hardy then let them. I'm not a big fan of trading quality everyday players for someone who plays once every five days. Although Halladay is one of the best pitchers in baseball, he can't really do any better for them than Sabathia did last year and we still came away with the division.
  2. This feels like one of those games where we build an early lead and the opposition chips away at it before finally taking the lead in the 8th or 9th.
  3. If Miles is re-activated, it better be Blanco who is released. One .500 OPS bat on this team is enough. That said, there is no reason to have Miles on this team over Blanco. DFA please.
  4. Only 80-85 percent? I want Aramis back as bad as the next guy, but we probably should have just waited until after the All-Star break.
  5. Awesome. So is that it then?
  6. Samardzija or Hart, and Fuld need to be sent down. Send Patton back to his old team.
  7. Outfielders should play ten feet behind the infield dirt when Soriano is up.
  8. Lol. Too bad Lee is doing too well lately to even get remotely mad at.
  9. I don't think there is anyway we get either of those runs in on the road.
  10. There is no way thats the same Casey McGehee that played for the Cubs last September.
  11. Kendall didn't help matters by catching it with the glove above his head.
  12. Ah sorry, should have put it in today's game thread. Was too busy being annoyed at the game. As I say that though, the Reds have two runners on with no outs in the 8th.
  13. Pujols with a grand-slam to give the Cardinals the lead. Saw it coming from a mile away.
  14. How have we not given up more than one run?
  15. Yeah the inning would have ended much quicker that way. Well obviously with the way we are with RISP we would have had a better chance of a bad throw home.
  16. Quade should have sent Fontenot on the Z base hit.
