    Pretty much any team who trades for Halladay is going to get bent over long term, so it better be a team who can guarantee themselves a WS win in the next 2 years. hmm, i didn't know teams were able to do that?

    Probably, but that vesting option is ugly. Nobody wants to take that on. he has missed some time with back spasms this season, is he on pace to match his plate appearance requirement still?

    what have they done since cleaning house to make you think they're a brutal front office? trading sanchez is the right move for them, if they can get some value. he's 31 years old, doesn't have much power and his stats are very BABIP-dependent because he doesn't walk a lot. plus he might be in line to make $8M next season. agreed. I actually am a big fan of what the new GM has done for the pirates. It actually looks like they are going in the right direction, FINALLY.

    I imagine they will win it all again this year. It's been a few years since they took a team of little leaguers with Albert to the title. Albert Pujols or not they've got no chance against a real team such as the Dodgers. i honestly do not even see the dodgers as that solid besides the offense. i think the AL wins the WS this year easily, the NL is really weak this season.
