Luckily for you, I want Team 2. i hope you enjoy Hanley Ramirez; last summer he cost you Schwarber and Jose Berrios That has literally no effect on anything.
Slightly off-topic: I sometimes wonder if Theo and Jed are actually massive douches behind the scenes. It's pretty hard to dominate life like that and stay humble. I would know.
The first time I watched that clip, I thought it was Fowler. After watching it a couple more times, I think it's Theo. Why would Fowler say, "Ya'll thought this horsefeathers was over, motherfuckers?" That sounds like Theo just beating his chest a little bit. He knows he's killing it.
If it's true that the team was surprised, just imagine Soler and Baez when they see Fowler walking up. The rest of the team is cheering, and they are just standing there like, "horsefeathers". I know we are supposedly not making a move, but they wouldn't have known at the time.
Yeah, just to clarify, I would also rather have Lackey. When I said, "a person", I meant it literally. Like, somebody, somewhere, could have potentially felt that way. Cuz that means so much and is so important.
http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/14814491/yovani-gallardo-baltimore-orioles-agree-contract The reason I'm posting this is that I did not realize until now how consistent Gallardo had been in his career. I'm okay with the Lackey signing, but I can see how a person could argue that Gallardo would be a lower risk option, just given his age and his track record over the past 7 seasons. Lackey probably has the higher potential upside, though.
I almost posted this article yesterday, and then decided not to. I just really didn't even want to think about the idea of swapping Soler for Dexter Fowler. Ugh. My biggest fear here is that we aren't going to get anything good for Soler, and then he will go hit 80 homers for some other team, and we will feel like the Pirates felt when they traded for Bobby Hill.
