  1. I’d get blasted on here if I made this post. Only because you'd add that we are super screwed because the Monday game would be rained out.
  2. With the way we are playing, I'd fear the horsefeathering Marlins coming to town.
  3. Well, at least horsefeathering R Mack is happy tonight.
  4. The horsefeathering Cardinals had to win one horsefeathering game.
  5. Sorry there is no way I can lie to you about something this blatant. There is no way he is thrown out if he doesn’t fall horsefeathers. Come on, Baseball Gods. You gave us a rain delay once. Give us a miracle in St. Louis tonight.
  6. Try to make me feel better and say that maybe he would have been out at home any way. Please?
  7. Sure, I could see them not sweeping. They could lose the last game of the series while resting their entire lineup because they clinched the day before. See, who's doom bonering?
  8. The Brewers are sweeping the Tigers. Remember to @ me if I'm wrong.
  9. Our chance at the division likely was the Cardinals winning tonight and us winning tonight. Only us winning tonight won't get the job done, in my opinion.
  10. I would like to see Albert Almora lead off by getting on base, and then pinch running Gore for him right away and trying to steal a run. Sort of like how the Rays start games with bullpen guys first. The huge problem with this would obviously be Almora actually getting on base.
  11. I know some have had a blast and been totally entertained watching and following the Cubs this season. But for a guy like me who has been bored, tired and just ready for the season to end, I can't even comprehend what it would be like for this team to go on a postseason run and win it all. I'd look back on a championship season and think, 'What a shitty season that was.' That's weird of me.
  12. Also, I miss those charts from a couple days ago that had what each team needed to do to catch the Cubs. When looking at them, you sort of are comforted when a team needs to go like 6-1 to catch you............until that team goes like 7-0.
  13. There’s nothing to make that happen anymore, this team is done for the regular season. Unlike the 58 times Sofa mentioned there’s no data points, math/probability with the lead we have with games left, splits, heat maps, etc to grab on to for hope. They’re just done. Maybe they somehow miraculously win the WC game and get hot, but division and automatic DS dreams are dead. I was shocked when you said it was over yesterday and didn't believe it. You just doubled down, so now I do. Welcome.
  14. The Cubs just have to pull a miracle. They just have to. I don't want to see Duker's legacy crumble like our offense.
  15. I thought a few weeks back the Brewers would win the division. But now that I see Mike Montgomery's pep talk about how the Cubs need to "bring it" for the last five games, well, everything's off the table now.
  16. 2016 is what makes me able to find this funny and entertaining in a fun-bad way. If I didn't have to fear the Brewers winning the World Series, I honestly wouldn't care much at all about what's going on or even if we missed the playoffs.
  17. I bet the Brewers shared their book with them for this series.
  18. I'm so thankful and appreciative for 2016. This current team can horsefeathers off, though.
  19. Well, that Baez swing was exciting. Turning it back off now.
  20. It's 11 p.m. I'm going to turn this horsefeathers on and watch it.
  21. To score a run or to win? I've already assumed they are losing.
  22. So, like, will they celebrate in the locker room after the game?
  23. Not really. They still are in the playoffs. But some of it feels the same, for sure.
