Eh; too old and the recent injury history makes me not a fan. Plus it seems like they'll be bringing Baez up as soon as they can. I'm still not all that optimistic about him, but it sure seems like he's who the organization is banking on replacing Castro. For some reason I feel Baez is the chip the organization most wants to trade. He wasn't their pick, and he isn't exactly the type of player they look to draft. They aren't giving him away or anything, of course. You could say the same about Castro. Of course, the big difference is that Castro has had sustained success at the MLB level...but he's got some worrying trends that have been going on for a while. Honestly, I kinda want to trade both of them at this point. You want to trade both right now...........and I can't say for sure that they don't want to as well. They get to move Russell to short, and get some nice things (hopefully) back for the pair in different trades. Would have to fill 2B, but whatever. They would find a way. Maybe give Alcantra another chance.
