    Woah, Carlos Gonzalez is pretty freakin' awful this year. .248/.298/.444, O fWAR, .322 wOBA, 89wRC, his BABIP isn't that low (.298) and his K% and BB% are both within 1.6% of his career averages.

    I will likely have to be in Eastern Nebraska (South Sioux City) for work within the next month, looks like I will be scheduling that trip around Iowa Cubs home games and making it a driving trip through Des Moines rather than flying.

    Obviously Soler is gonna start no matter what and it's not like the rest of the OF in AAA matter, but do you think Jackson or Kalish gets DFA'd?

    I don't think so, I think that their doctor(s) felt there was something wrong/abnormal then Aiken/Close got multiple other doctors (including Andrews) to review the same info and their conclusions were all the same that nothing was wrong/nor a concern. So they didn't fabricate it, just their conclusion(s) didn't matchup with a handful of other guys.

    If he goes the JUCO route and dominates/stays healthy I could easily see him getting $5 million+, plus i'd imagine there are other team's doctors that are of the same mindset of the ones Aiken/Close got to review his MRI and said it shouldn't be an issue.

    It makes no sense for them to not accept a trade that includes Wiggins right now, unless they still feel they can get Thompson+ out of GS. But still with where they are having to pay Thompson big money soon doesn't make a lot of sense. Wiggins+Lavine provides a really nice/intriguing athletic future.
