    I would argue if Soler wins ROY/MVP and is voted into the HOF *despite* a .323 OBP then things went incredibly well. Glass half empty, eh? No, those superficial awards wouldn't take away from the fact he had a rather pedestrian career.

    Is Soler really not starting tonight? If so, that's brutal. Yes, sounds like he isn't even getting to the park until about 2 hours before the game.

    He'll be up in 5 days anyways Yeah, I don't care if that's the move. Just find it a bit odd and trying to figure out what they might do, though I know it's been guessed at Ruggiano is going to the DL

    I appreciate Valbuena for what he is (cost controlled, patient hitter, versatile), but it's not like I'm going to stop what I'm doing to see what Luis Valbuena does when he's up to bat. I mean, the dude has the same fWAR this season as Robinson Chirinos. fWAR has yet to figure out a way to properly weigh awesome bat flips

    I get that sentiment but I feel pretty certain Soler is going to end up being better than at least 1, if not both of them.
