  1. Happ is legitimately one of the best players in baseball right now. Kipnis, Willy, Bote, Schwarbs are all over 100 wRC+. Rizzo has a 136 wRC+, KB is at 97. Javy is the only one really sucking. But KB needs to be his usual self sooner than later.
  2. Frustrating game. Had it close to won but Javy/Schwarbs/Phegley couldn’t come through with bases loaded and Mills forgot how to pitch for like 7 pitches. Still almost won and made Hader throw almost 40 pitches. Oh well. Win tomorrow idiots
  3. horsefeathers this. Of course MLB is burdening other teams because of their horsefeathers up. I hope Flaherty blows his arm out.
  4. Alright, horsefeathers it. Red Sox about to be 6-13. Trade for JD and Workman. Give up Abbott and Roederer if you must.
  5. If Almora isn’t gonna play vs a lefty when KB is out and Schwarbs probably is still dealing with that sore knee from the HBP what the hell is he doing on the roster? Call someone up who has a useful tool to deploy. horsefeathers, I’m not even a big fan but get Short up. He might crank some dongs, take a walk and maybe handles lefties well (something we need).
  6. This is nice, don’t have to hop between there and MLB anymore for that info.
  7. If we make a trade for this year I’m not including Bote unless it’s like a Lindor move and he’s one of the pieces. Certainly am not moving him for a reliever. With the DH he’s an important part of what we’re doing here, trading him for relief help doesn’t interest me. Especially for a guy like Bradley who’s been up and down.
  8. I liked him a lot as a target last offseason/deadline. I’d be in. He also hits lefties better than righties. Career .836 OPS vs them, if we add a bat I want it to be a guy who boosts the lineup vs LHP since that’s where we seem a little short.
  9. Pillar and Workman package from the Red Sox I’ve mentioned. Won’t cost much but covers some holes. Brian Anderson from the Marlins I’d give up real things for if he’s available. Haven’t really dug too deep in to a ton of targets since there’s still ~20 games to the deadline and there’s bound to be some good teams now be sellers because they struggle or bad teams rally and not sell.
  10. I think every year outside of 2016 he’s had a really good ~60 game stretch. Hopefully he’s finding that groove now.
  11. This Spaz is balking every pitch to Bote
  12. I’m ready for the Dan Winkler, throw high cutters experiment to end.
  13. Bryant has looked like complete horsefeathers outside of taking some walks all year. He’s not even making hard contact.
  14. Good job knocking a SP out early again, but gotta score there. horsefeathering bums.
  15. Only voted for universal DH, would’ve voted for expanded rosters if it was an option too. 28 seems like a good number then like 32-34 for September.
  16. So they’re gonna jump right in to playing after ~2 weeks off.
