But right and second are about the only realistic places I’d mess with right now if we needed to get Bote more PAs Having the DH certainly helps and I think it’s gonna be like 2016 if everyone is healthy. “Where are all these SS/bats going to play?” It will work itself out and most guys who should/are playing well will get their rightful ABs.

    He deserves more playing time. I think he'll have a great year. At the very least they should give Bryant a little bit of extra time to get right with Bote looking like this and not overly rush him.     So far, 2 IP, 1 BB, 6 H, 5 ER for Cmart. He looked like complete horsefeathers, mostly 91-92. Touches 93-95 1-3 times.

    Reds get to use the juiced balls on offense I see

    Getting the DH has really helped since it has allowed to play multiple of Nico/Vic/Kipnis in there just about every game so far and up the contact ability of the lineup. The approach has just generally been good though, KB and Rizzo were 1-2 in pitches seen in MLB going in to today. Happ and Bote have had solid approaches too.
