I'm more worried about that knee MRI tomorrow for Schwarber than I am the ankle one since the x-ray's already showed no breaks. A bad ankle sprain can be overcome and he would be back this year anything with the knee and it's not likely. -

I still expect DL time. Yeah I expect it too, no reason to rush and we have the depth and even ankle sprains can take quite some time to heal. But we could be looking at only missing him for 20-30 games instead of 3 months to the whole year which I just assumed the latter was happening.

Does Richard have any options left? Maybe he gets sent down to start some games and stay relatively stretched out? Especially if he's used in one of the next 3 starts for Lackey, Hendricks, or Hammel as the "super utility" pitcher earlier in the game to avoid having those guys face a lineup for the 3rd time.

Tough to say, this is one of the deepest fields I can remember. Legitimately a dozen or so guys you can make great arguments for. I put some money on Patrick Reed at 50/1 back in January when I was in Vegas so I'm gonna be rooting for him.

I get wanting both, but really when they play and we don't obviously need on to win I just cheer for lots of pitches thrown and extra innings so they have to exhaust their pitching staffs.

I've been listening to the score a lot the past few days while driving, they have talked about the white sox just as much as the Cubs. Which is weird for "the Cubs official station."

it really is. i'm an addict. i try to go a couple times a year during the football season. I've only been once. It was amazing, you're [expletive] up drunk by noon, you stay drunk until about 7 or 7:30 then you have like 7 more hours to get MORE DRUNK. Yeah I've gone the past 2 Thanksgivings with my dad and brother from Thanksgiving day-Monday, that whole long weekend is crazy in terms of having to be up at 7 or 8 to start watching/betting on games and then being drunk before noon everyday.
