  1. Agree, his teeth don't seem to fit his mouth
  2. Syndergaard has been absolutely filthy so far this year, I heard today he's already thrown more sliders this year than he did all last year (Fangraphs has him throwing it nearly 25% of his pitches vs 2% last year) and he's AVERAGING 92 MPH on it. It will be interesting to see if he will be able to keep throwing so many sliders at that velo all year or if he breaks down. Maybe he's a freak and he can keep it up, but I think the evidence is pretty overwhelming that you can't be throwing so many sliders at that kind of velo for that long.
  3. I am mostly fine too other than it seems like even when he squares a ball up it doesn't go real far and his defense has just been kinda meh
  4. I don't know if Zobrist's combined exit velocity on his two ground outs reached the exit velo of Soler's or Heyward's lineout
  5. You never ever pump fake in a run down. That's on Montero I'd argue it's fine pump faking when u r running a guy back to the base he originated from but u can't do it where it makes u have to make a weird throw when u actually throw it because u r too close to the base/guy u r throwing to
  6. Fowler had every right to watch those pitches in the last AB, they were as close to 50/50 pitches as you will see and he could literally do nothing with them had he swung
  7. Those were some really good pitches to Fowler
  8. Damn, would've been nice to score there. I know it's SSS and lineup configuration is semi irrelevant but I'd like to see Zobrist out of the 3 spot
  9. The feeling of inferiority is real
  10. I wonder if we see Joe pull out the bunting attack strategy in one of the 3 games this series like he did in game 2 of the NLDS
  11. Walk off dongs are the best dongs so we at least have that going for us
  12. What ever pitch that was by Warren to K lemahieu it was filthy. Seemed to be a change up since it was 85 but it JD more the movement of a sinker/2-seamer
  13. I know it's early in the year Wrigley but Zobrist fly balls to the OF seem to go rather unimpressive distances from where it seems like they will go off the bat
