  1. I hope word gets over to Brenneman that the Cubs broadcasters were talking about the Reds forfeiting the game to see his response
  2. I can't wait to decimate the Cardinals pitching like this next week
  3. Jay Bruce is pretty awful in RF, at least one of the Russell or Fowler balls should have been an out
  4. HAHAHA http://mlb.mlb.com/images/6/9/2/134172692/070115_chc_rizzo_magic_med2_jitervdi.gif
  5. I've found myself really liking to sit in either section 215 or 216 infield box terrace first 5 or so rows the past few times I've gone to Wrigley.
  6. Terry Collins just brought Jim Henderson in to pitch the 7th after he threw 40+ pitches in a relief outing last night and Henderson proceeded to load the bases without recording an out before Collins pulled him
  7. http://www.isolationtankplans.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/homer-and-lisa-to-natural-remedy-store.jpg
  8. The Marlins have made some awful base running decisions tonight
  9. Holy crap that's awful. On top of getting the dates wrong, I think "Buck's infamous call" was also during the Red Sox-Yankees ALCS when the Sox came back from down 3-0 not a Cardinals series, though maybe he recycled the phrase. Actually I believe Jack Buck used that call when Puckett walked off in game 6 of the 91 World Series, and Joe Buck "paid homage" by using it after Freese's HR in 2011. Eh, I was slightly wrong. He said "We will see you later tonight" in the Sox-Yankees series, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jzlx1wJGRN0
  10. jfc, this stuff has to be made up right? Edit: He doesn't even have his Cardinal history right Holy crap that's awful. On top of getting the dates wrong, I think "Buck's infamous call" was also during the Red Sox-Yankees ALCS when the Sox came back from down 3-0 not a Cardinals series, though maybe he recycled the phrase.
  11. Same, I wonder if he stumbled out of the box a little because the ball wasn't hit all that hard and the SS waited back and also didn't seem to throw it overly hard to 1B
  12. We have to have at least 6 balls in play tonight hit harder than Hamilton's HR
  13. Pirates win and the Cardinals are currently taking batting practice against the Brewers
  14. They literally upgraded the whole thing, so yes
  15. Finnegan is a lefty so I'm guessing either Soler or Szczur is starting in LF today.
  16. Looking at his Fangraphs page, though not huge sample sizes, Finnegan has some pretty big BB/9 numbers over his minor and major league career. So with our patient approach I'd imagine we will have worked him out of the game by the 4th. His BB/9 last year would have been 2nd worst in the league if he pitched enough innings to qualify.
  17. Looks like high 30s/low 40s for the night games and high 50s/low 60s for the day games this week with no precipitation in the forecast
