The rotation at Iowa has been awful and there's no real SP prospects there other than Williams. May just be a sink or swim promotion or maybe there's a coach(s)/competition they want him working with there/against. -
Jesse Rogers just posted video of Heyward taking BP, have to imagine he's gonna be back by Wednesday since he was nearly ready to go tonight.

Only other players I can think of who moved around so much while being awesome hitters were Pujols early on in St. Louis, between 2001 and 2003 he played ~120 games at 1B, ~95 at 3B, ~260 in LF, and ~40 in RF, and Cabrera early in Miami between 2003 and 2006 he played ~220 games at 3B, ~250 games in LF and ~100 games in RF

Yeah after seemingly hitting rockets everywhere and taking walks for those few weeks there he seems to really be struggling the past ~2 weeks. I haven't looked at the numbers to know if that's true but it seems like it's been a while since he's made some hard contact and he's striking out a lot. Addison Russell's last two weeks 12 G 49 PA .273/.347/.545 (.892) 14K 5 BB Well then, I was wrong (except about the Ks). Doesn't seem like he's been hitting that much lately to have that average.

Yeah after seemingly hitting rockets everywhere and taking walks for those few weeks there he seems to really be struggling the past ~2 weeks. I haven't looked at the numbers to know if that's true but it seems like it's been a while since he's made some hard contact and he's striking out a lot. He can join Fowler, Rizzo and Baez in the struggling club Baez just might suck and his "struggle" may be who he is

I mean he is and has been basically a platoon catcher since we got him. Only 56 PAs vs LHP last year and his career numbers largely suggest he's best used as a platoon guy to maximize his value/effectiveness.

Is a trap injury considered no big deal for pitchers? Or are they one of those things that often precipitates a more serious elbow or shoulder injury? Ie "forearm tightness" and elbow injuries.
