I mean if you want to play what ifs, if we don't sign Fowler maybe Schwarber and whoever the CF is in Arizona that night don't collide for some reason and Schwarber's knee is still alive.

Wouldn't you want Zobrist out to accomplish that? Fowler/Almora/Heyward OF and Bryant/Russell/Baez/Rizzo INF?

Clayton Richard still exists and still can't get lefties out. Richard can still come in and not suck and he hasn't given up a run in 11 of 16 games (I'm not saying he's any good but there's a chance he can come in and be effective), LaStella is flat out terrible at 3B. You know he's going to suck defensively at 3B every game he plays there and it seems like every game there's at least 1 play he doesn't make that Javy and/or Bryant would make.

Almora makes sense, go with the OF super defense of Fowler-Almora-Heyward LF/CF/RF.

I'm guessing even if it's not serious Soler will be out for a week at minimum with his hamstring history but I'm expecting a 15 day DL move on him tomorrow. It will be interesting to se who gets called up if/when Soler goes on the DL, Bryant probably goes to LF most of the time with LaStella/Javy at 3B. I wonder if they would consider calling Vogelbach up just to have the bat on the bench? All the OF on the 40-man currently are on the MLB roster or on the DL.
