    I know I haven't been in favor of trading for Reddick. But if he's going to be free, yeah, sure, why not? Yeah if that's all it takes I'd absolutely do it.

    Obligatory lineups don't matter much, but I agree this lineup is ass. If he's going to start throwing weird lineups out I wouldn't mind seeing something like Fowler CF Russell SS Bryant LF Rizzo 1B Zobrist 2B Contreras C Baez 3B Heyward RF P

    There was the toe tap/front leg load switch that was pointed out relatively early on. Idk if he's kept doing that or switched to something else

    I agree, that's why I asked the question if the one hoppers to 2B/1B get defined as LDs.

    How is a LD defined when they measure them? Like if a ball is hit and takes one hop to the 2B is it classified as LD because it carried to almost the OF? Is it based off of exit velocity, distance a ball carries in the air, some equation based off the two of those?

    ok, umfan I see some of the same handful are still here complaining about others pointing out the cold hard facts, that they apparently don't want to see/hear or acknowledge. Eating their own and telling them how they should conduct their fandom. Now THAT's annoying. WAY more annoying than those venting their justified frustration over this (what is it 2 months worth now..?) garbage and Joe's "maddoningly" idiotic "I'm smarter than the game" routine. There's a reason they're far behind their pythag record...need look no further than the dugout and the clown shoe act coaching the bases for the most part...but hey, they throws a hell of a pajama party. smfh I don't think they've had a themed road trip since the Miami series in June. So maybe they should be throwing more of those

    Maybe we should just forfeit the next 5 games and get the whole team 5 days rest like Kaplan said Heyward needed. Then, BOOM, Super Cubs are back

    It's because their start raised the expectations to the point where you expect them to dominate every night. Instead you've gotten a .500ish team since mid May. Like I've said in past game threads almost every good team goes through a long stretch of .500 ball. The hope is they will hit their stride again in August and cruise to the playoffs I prefer them cranking in September. Those are the teams that seem to do well in the playoffs I believe there is little to no correlation to how well a team is doing in September, or any other month or selected stretch of time, and having success in the playoffs.

    How has Chapman done interviews in the past since he speaks little to no English, did he have an interpreter? It seems kind of lazy of the organization to send Hank White out there if he's this bad of a translator and not have a professional in there. Especially knowing the nature of the questions and importance of the response that was coming
