  1. Clinching in St. Louis is looking very likely, imo, if we can win 3-4 of the next 6 games vs TB and Milwaukee this week.
  2. KB must've pulled a Draper and went out on a bender on an off day again
  3. Contraction. Make the Milwaukee's and Memphis's feeder leagues. 16 teams should do. I know this will never happen, but it'd be so much better. Don't disagree, the product would be better with fewer teams/condensed talent. This also could be a negotiating ploy by using the ESPN lackeys to gain an upper hand to get more from the players and/or the little markets getting a bigger cut of revenue sharing form the big markets.
  4. That's a lot of teams claiming to lose money in a league that always seems to be telling us how much money they are bringing in (obviously don't know what kind of accounting shenanigans some may be pulling or if it's part of some owners plans to run at a loss, but still).
  5. That's probably roughly it with the odds of a split, 1 of 4 and sweep moving a bit depending on the next two games outcomes for both teams. If the Brewers were to lose the next 2 in Pittsburgh, not even factoring in what we do those odds probably bump up at least 5% across the board with a sweep or 3/4 clinching the division 100%. Right now they have Garza listed as pitching Wednesday but I think they are doing another bullpen game, would be nice (at the least) to have them burn out some of their options there for at least Thursday's and/or Friday's games (Hader and Jeffres specifically).
  6. Well that's definitely comforting. I'm just irrationally terrified (shocking, right?) of the game series we have there coming up. You should be.
  7. You're such an angry, angry person. Well that's definitely comforting. I'm just irrationally terrified (shocking, right?) of the game series we have there coming up.
  8. Not that it's happening tonight but Swarzask or whatever his name is, is due to give up some runs
  9. Sharma tweeted earlier it sounds like he's pitching in the Milwaukee series
  10. Live look at the Cardinals waking up in their hotel room this morning after going on a bender last night and realizing their playoff hopes are once again gone
  11. Chris Archer's last 3 appearances starting with the game he left with forearm problems after facing 2 batters and giving up 2 home runs..... 7IP 17H 13R 11ER 3HR 4BB
  12. Bears fans have a hard time poking fun at that Oh I know, I'm just surrounded by Packer fans who's excuse the last few years for why they can't get to a SB is "everyone got hurt." I know it's football and injuries happen, but it's like the Mets fans thinking it's just luck which part is but also maybe it's time to start looking at the process too that the profile of players they are taking have a predisposition to injuries and/or their training staff is doing something wrong or isn't doing something right.
  13. Packers already starting their yearly everyone gets injured thing, starting LT and RT both out tonight and Jordy Nelson and Mike Daniels got hurt and left the game. I think they share the same training staff as the Mets
  14. We aren't the Cardinals, we like our guys to have low blood alcohol levels
  15. http://68.media.tumblr.com/a14d4668c4bf33ac5a2b508354e68020/tumblr_nmd8vtNNVc1rdrts4o2_500.gif
  16. Duensing, Montgomery and *shudders* Wilson are going to be responsible for closing this out I would not be at all surprised to see Davis in the 9th, unless I missed a proclamation that he is absolutely out today. Yeah with the off day tomorrow I think we see Davis
  17. Don't know why Happ didn't hit there or even send up someone to bunt
