Yeah good point and it is smart. Counsell is gonna manage this game again like its Game 7 of the World Series, I’d expect Hader to come in pretty early for multiple innings once Woodruff gets in to trouble/reaches a pitch limit/gets PH for.

At this point, I'm for this, except definitely Otani. I know it’s not realistic/likely but bringing the guys back I mentioned above along with a bullpen arm (Liriano) plus Otani would be an awesome offseason. Theo should probably do that.

I’d kinda be fine with bringing everyone back (Arrieta, Davis, Jay, Avila) then adding Cobb to take Lackey’s spot. This is all assuming no Otani. Liriano as a bullpen arm intrigues me as well.
