I have no doubt the FO is figuring out every angle to get this done. But get it horsefeathering done Theo, whether it's a promise to rip up his measly contract within a year and give him a $100-200 million new contract, access to a secret TD Ameritrade account set up by Ricketts with millions in it for his disposal, or whatever. Just get it horsefeathering done. -
I didn't get that other, the only thing I can think is Schwarbs was nursing some sort of minor injury and/or they were really working on him in Theo's secret lab on something and they wanted to give him through the off day yesterday for it to take.

It is a shame that he has gone Adam Warren because a good late inning lefty would have been useful in a few weeks against the Nats and maybe the Dodgers. Monty can have that role

Pretty unfair to the Brewers that they might not even play in Miami this weekend and even if they do it will be a damaged stadium and the next time we go it's going to be re-built and refurbished like new.

Gsellman has a ERA over 5 and FIP/xFIP over 4.7, he's giving up 1.38 HR/9 and walking over 3 per 9. Destroy this MF'er

Wow that's insane. How can you not take the Tigers? I know its Klueber but they are probably +360 or so? BTW Quintana is -310 today vs the Mets. Way to damn high Yeah there's definitely value in taking the Tigers tonight, they are anywhere from +310 to +375 from what I've seen.

The Indians are -500 tonight, streak or no streak, that's a ridiculous line for a baseball game and the highest I've ever seen.

I don't care much to lock up a pitcher we already control for multiple years yet who won't be all that young come FA. -
With Willy back and the offense needing a boost, if Joe is willing to punt some defense early in games, I really would like to see some variation of the following offense (not lineup order 1-8 just positions) vs RHP; C: Avila 3B: Bryant SS: Javy 2B: Zobrist/Seal Boy 1B: Rizzo LF: Happ/Jay/Schwarber/Zobrist/Willy CF: Happ/Jay RF: Willy/Zobrist/Happ Basically no more starts for Heyward and use him as a defensive replacement and keep Bryant at 3B since Seal Boy can't play there for horsefeathers.

Also with Heyward sucking hard again, Avila could potentially take his spot in the lineup once Willy comes back as Willy could shift to LF or RF to help boost the offense. Justin Wilson is a gutless, choking bum of a pitcher though. No defense of him coming from me.
