    He went yard again last night for #13. Only 221 PA’s, .786 OPS. Not bad for a cost controlled 22 yo. On pace for a little less than 1 whole WAR if given 550-600 PAs, not bad at all!

    The VB’s sent Shaw down and called Hiura back up and DFA’d Hernan Perez as well. Wish we showed as much urgency on the back side of the roster to turn things over.

    I want Almora starting over Yelich, damn it. Could be tough for KB too. Rendon is probably in over him and then there’s Turner, Machado and Donaldson for coaches decisions too. Brian Anderson could be the Marlins rep as well and horsefeathers him. Agree on Rizzo, not upset if those guys get the break off.

    Yeah I really enjoyed all that contact last night that led to 3-5 double plays. Much preferable to the batter striking out. If only all of those batters would have struck out instead the Cubs probably would have won the game. I mean the odds go up if they do because you know, it’s 1 out vs 2 and guys stay on base and keep an inning going
