  1. Unless that reason he was secretly almost 40 the entire time and it doesn't matter that he's 37 and broken now, then who gives a horsefeathers. How do you know he's still hurt? Are all our hurt guys going to be broken when they come back of the IL too, or is this just a SSS Cardinals thing? Maybe? But the 37 year old catcher who was awful this year, has a million miles on his body, was never that good to begin with, and has battled injuries the last few years and has hit .266/.303/.423 with a 92 wRC+ since 2017 is probably a decent bet to be pretty horsefeathering bad moving forward.
  2. Hopefully he’s useful in September when rosters expand and he is up and then brings us an interesting relief pitcher or capable CF’er in the offseason.
  3. Don’t poke the troll. What if I added that from last July to current (+/- full seasons worth of PAs, 554) he’s at .238/.272/.352 61 wRC+.
  4. What about activating the bad hitting catcher?
  5. So Almora is at -3 DRS, he isn’t even a that great of fielder which many have been saying on here for a while and the offense speaks for itself. He hits Arb 1 next year, he probably isn’t worth even offering a contract to.

  7. Especially when it’s a horsefeathering domed stadium
  8. Woof, keep this hot take Nah, he’s a great guy probably. But an injury is the only thing to keep him away from actively making the team worse since they can’t help themselves.
  9. Yeah I don’t care, that was an incredibly catchable ball and so was the other one he came in on. You need to watch the other CF we have. Every time the other guys pull and play those balls on a bounce I will be sure to point it out to you. Heyward literally has ran down balls in CF to RCF as a CF the last few games that Almora whiffs on. You’re just a horsefeathering idiot, dude.
  10. What a loser not catching a Barreled ball that on average have over a 2.500 OPS on them. Should have started Heyward who would have just stopped and played it off the wall. Yeah I don’t care, that was an incredibly catchable ball and so was the other one he came in on.
  11. 2nd game in 4 days Almora misplays lead to a game going off the rails. Hoping he blows out a knee soon, honestly.
  12. It’s crazy but yet the like 5 flyballs a game he gives up 3 are HRs.
  13. Give me the xWOBA or some horsefeathers on that play, Edith. You horsefeathering idiot. He’s a miserable fielder. Again missing a ball he goes back on.
  14. I mean this guy isn’t even a good fielder
  15. Oh well, make sure to win at least 1 of tomorrow or Sunday.
  16. Murton would’ve been a really good player had he been around a smarter organization and/or was coming up now in the launch angle/juiced ball era. He was basically KB like at the plate from 05-07. It’s also hilarious we got him because Hendry just spoke up on the conference call finalizing the Nomar trade and said we’d take him at the 11th hour when there was confusion which of the teams he was going too and they didn’t have time to sort it through. I'm going to assume you meant "KB light/lite" there, because otherwise...no. He was definitely got a raw deal, but he wasn't some savior by any means. Yeah that was suppose to be "KB Lite." He would've really benefited from the launch angle stuff, I think.
  17. Only his second time out after being down for a month +/-. Probably some rust, the stuff and velo seem fine.
  18. With having to play a man down I get why the Reds did this, especially with Wood only going 3 innings.
  19. Ryan is a top 2-3 RP on the current roster, don’t know why we are wasting him here. He’s gonna be down until Saturday now.
  20. Almora almost fucked that catch up again with that dumb jump
